Join the Consent Collective:
The Consent Collective values the importance of the work and contributions that different communities bring to our organization. We apply intersectional feminist analysis and implement equity procedures in hiring and retention. We are committed to building a team that represents the diverse realities of survivors. In this regard, we encourage Indigenous people, Black people, people of color, people with disabilities, formerly incarcerated or institutionalized people, immigrants, members of the 2S/LGBTQIA community, and people from diverse economic backgrounds to apply. We also understand that candidates may simultaneously embody several of these identities in ways that enrich and nuance their experience.
Working at the Collective :
- Offer help and support services to women, trans, non-binary and Two-Spirit people in order to help them overcome the consequences of sexual assault, notably through the following activities: phone support and references, individual follow-ups, support group, Legal recourse and advocacy (IVAC, complaint to the police...);
- To ensure a role of prevention, education and sensitization to the problem of sexual assault;
- To help prevent and counter sexual assault and to support women who have been sexually assaulted in the steps following the sexual assault, in particular by sharing our expertise with government, health and social services, and legal professionals
Doing an internship at the Consent Collective:
- Each year, we welcome college and university level interns in social work, sexology or human relations;
- You must be bilingual, feminist and your internship must last one year;
- Doing an internship at Collectif Consenti means joining the fight against sexual assault and becoming part of a non-hierarchical team that offers guidance and support, but also considers you a full member!
